The aim of the hands-on training is to introduce participants to the basic concepts of developing connected IoT devices for smart cities, using modern low-power wireless LPWAN technologies and NB-IoT device development.
Content
- the basics of IoT devices for smart cities,
- the specifics of LPWAN low-power wireless communication technologies,
- comparison of LPWAN technologies (LTE-M, NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, SigFox),
- developing an application for the NB-IoT sensor device,
- IoT application server configuration,
- display and process the data sent from the IoT sensor.
Learning objectives
A highly practical workshop where participants learn the basic concepts of developing connected IoT devices for smart cities. They learn how to use modern low-power wireless LPWAN technology and develop NB-IoT devices.
